Default Rear defrost problem

My rear defrost seems to not be working. The light doesnt come on and I dont know which specific fuse it it, I think it is one of the big metal ones and I switched them to see if one was bad but it seems fine. Does anyone have any idea?

Umm that doesnt help. I have done that, and the owners manual only tells you how to operate it not, troubleshoot it.

Check for voltage between the 2 teminals on the rear window. 12 volt when the switch is on. If you have voltage check lines on the window for a break. When I remember it right, there is a relay that is in the engine compartment fuse box. Check if that is switching on / off when you press the switch.

If you have a power seat check and see if it works, they are on the same circuit. If it doesn't, one of the large metal circuit breakers is dead. I had the common problem where the defroster shuts off early, 2 minutes instead of 10, and then won't turn back on for a while. I replaced the 30 amp circuit breaker with a 30 amp fuse and it works fine now. You could try that, a simple cheap thing.
