Was power antenna available for 2001 Camaro?

Default Was power antenna available for 2001 Camaro?

That is one option I really miss on this car, the power antenna. Its also a pain since I have a lift in a low height garage, I have to take the stupid thing off every time I lift the car. If I find a factory antenna somewhere will the wiring be in the car already? Also, what cars also use the same antenna?

No a power antenna was not an option on the Camaro, but you can add it yourself. Here is a write-up:

thats a very good write up. I used it just a week ago to install my power antenna. You can also put a switch in the remote line that you run (mentioned in that write up) so that you can keep the antenna down when your listening to CD's etc. I've found i can listen to most stations w/ it down.
