Both of my remotes tend to work on and off. I have replaced the batteries and resynchronized both of them with the car. One has pretty much quit altogether now and the other usually works, although not all the time. Almost daily I will walk up to my car and it will take 10-20 pushes of the unlock button for it to finally work. Other times it works the first time. Are my remotes going bad, or could there be another problem like the BCM?

I'd say your remotes are going south on you. Time to look for replacements on ebay.

have you relaced the batteries yet. I would try that before buying a new remote.

Also, try opening it up and cleaning the button contacts with a pencil eraser or some spray contact cleaner (not water).
