kraaazymike, I like it. I mounted mine inside the console, nudged up against the coin holder. I went for the out of sight method because I know how easy a Camaro can be broken into. And it makes me feel a little bit like James Bond when I change the station, but thats another topic.

I've been thinking of putting my Roady2 inside the console or seeing how it would mount in the cubby below the HVAC controls. The car's not being used for the winter and the Fiancee comandeered the unit to her Jeep. I have a feeling I'll be buying a new one in the spring.

the unit itself is the kind where i can take it out and use it in my home so when I park the car I can take it out and leave it in my glove box or something, so I dont really worry about having it out in the open.
