Component Question Looking into getting JL XR650-CSi for the doors of my '01 SS. I am wanting to mount the tweeters on the speaker and hide the crossovers in the door. I know the crossovers fit (read it on here somewhere) but will the tweeter fit over the speaker and still clear the stock grill of the door?

it should ive installed regular coaxail speakers in f bodys and they clear just fine just make sure the jls are able to go together like you want i know kicker components will but infinity components have to be seperated you cant mount the tweet on the speaker

thanx hlujan, Yeah the components are seperated and don't really go together. I saw a bracket someplace that put the tweeter in the center of the other speaker and was hoping that would still clear...
Anyone else have an idea?
