Default gauges not working

I took the dash out of my 01 camaro to remove the passenger air bag. Of course you have to pull the gauges first. When I got the air bag out, and reinstalled everything, and crunk the car the speedo and rpm are not working. Everything else on the gauges works fine. Has anyone ever had this problem, or know how to fix it?

sounds like you may have lost a ground somewhere while you were tinkering around in there. i hate to say this but my advice would be first maby find someone that has a cluster you can plug in and see if its your cluster if not, tear into the dash and trace the wiring harness that goes to the cluster, look for lost grounds and/or broken or freyed wires.
