I would also like to know what to use and a camera.

I know I seen cameras that record right to an SD card. But forgot the names

have you tried these mounts?

Have any pics or videos in action?

Wonder if I could mount it up high, on the inside of the back hatch, and buy the 12" extension so that it would position the camera just behind the center of the driver and pass. seats? (Sorta were one would be if mounted to a roll cage) ??????

No I personally have not used any camera mounts but I have seen a few people that have used the sticky pod mount. I would think that you could hang it from the back hatch and buy the extension. But you might get alot of vibration with an extension. You could probably just mount it further to the back of the hatch to reduce any vibrations, just adjust your zoom on the camera to make the pictuer closer to the front of the car.

Those Stickypods look sweet! Though... taking pics with a digi-cam would seem a bit hard. Unless you stickypod your friend to the roof/hood as well

I have a StickyPod and it works great. I put my 3CCD camcorder on it all the time.

where do you mount yours? Is there a sweet spot to get video of the road and MPH/RPM on the dash?

Also...do you have any links to videos you have made using it?

I brought this thread up from the dead - just because I bought a www.stickypod.com finally, it's awesome.

There's a ton of cool vids and pics on their website. I bought the original plus a 12" extension, was about $100-$110 shipped.

I mounted my high def camera on it in a variety of positions, and can't wait to get some "REAL" vids uploaded from driving the car at speed...

For now this is the only video of the C5 I have: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOvCfIVbx04
