Default alarm indicator

does anyone know if the led indicator on the dash that indicates the alarm is armed has a constant power source and its flashing is modulated by a in line capacitor? or is that taken care of by a control module that just sends out the blips? also, would adding an approx. .25 amps inline screw up that cicuit?

The alarm LED gets a pulsed signal from the BCM. I don't know about addiing anything inline - haven't tried it.
