Default box volume for alpine?

the website(alpines) says that a .5-.8 c^3 box is needed for this sub (alpine type-r 10'' 4+4ohm), this seems like a pretty small box, wondering if anyone is willing to double check this for me or let me know what size box you used for your alpine 10", thanks

I think that is the right size. When looking for a sub for my stealth box, alot of people suggested those subs, stating they work well in small enclosures. I went with jl though.

I am using the Driver/Passenger Subthump Boxes with my Alpine Type-S 10" Subs. They require a larger box than the Type-R's. I am also using the Scan-Speak Vents positioned directly behind the magnet. These hit really good and sound great too. The Subthump Boxes are made really well and fit perfectly. The Alpine's are a great choice for these enclosures.
