ok this is weird too, i notice my high beam light in the dash is very dim when this happens as well.

i just pulled the head lightout. when i disconnected the pass side the pass side high beam didnt work at all and the driver side worked normal. i put the pass side lamp on the driver side to see if it was a bad bulb and it worked fine. after this the pass side high beam started to work on me without the low beam plugged in. i put the bulb back over there and now it works. im just waiting for it to mess up again cause i have noticed the high beam light would sometimes be dim in the dash and others i couldnt see it. i just wonder if there might have been a cut wire or something i might have moved around that helped fix it, just trying to figure out what in the world can make this problem happen??

The most common cause for your symptoms is a bad ground. That will force the headlights to ground through each other causing the dimly lit bulbs. Check the G105 (right) and G106 (left) ground connections on top of the rad support. Those are where the headlights are supposed to ground.

it's a bad ground on the side that the 2 lamps are dim on.

I had the exact same thing couple days ago, when your looking at your car from the front there is a ground wire that attatches on the radiator support on the right side, the bolt loosened up on me causing all the light issues as well as my elec. fans stopped working and also i had no windshield wipers, give it a try
