Driver tail light dimmers when accelerating??

Driver tail light dimmers when accelerating?? A friend told me during acceleration my driver side tail light dimmers and gets brighter when shifting gears and then goes dim again after shifting gears, the other was fine he said whats the problem you think....??

Have you tried revving the engine in neutral to try to reproduce the sympton while standing still?
My guess, it has to be something in that taillight. Maybe a flaky socket or a chafed wire.
