Default No highs in Sail Panel Speakers

All other speakers work fine. There are lows in the speakers but no highs. Front speakers work fine. Hatch speakers work fine. I replaced the sail panel speakers with new speakers and they still do the same. What's the problem?

They are connected to a low-pass filter in the stock amp.

More than I can say about mine, driver's side is silent

Working on fixing that with some spare 6.5" sub speakers and an old computer sub amp (12VDC in, how convenient!).

They use to have highs in the speakers. Out of the blue they just stopped putting highs out. I thought they blew until I changed them and I saw they they were only putting out lows.

You can see them putting out lows? NICE. I wish I could see sound.

What is modified on your Monsoon system? If you have had highs coming from the sails you or someone has modified something in the audio system to accomplish this. The Monsoon amp limits the output to the sailpanels to sub frequencies only.

That's why we have the third set of speakers in the hatch area, they are the highs for the sail panels.

I guess someone decided that it was too loud to have the highs right in your ear while in the backseat.

I agree. If you know someone with access to a spectrum analyzer, you can see what frequencies are being sent to each speaker.
