Help with ac/heat
Ok I put a motor in my car and I broke one of the ac lines. I got the new line and regarged the system when I got the car running. Now no matter what setting I put it on it will only blow out the floor. It will not blow out the vents. So my quetion is do I have a bad blower motor? I thought if I had a bad blower motor that it would not blow out period.

nope not the motor, if it is blowing then that is fine. There are directional "paddles" so to speak inside the ductwork to direct air up, down, or whatever. They are either controlled by vacuum or electric, not sure which but I'm guessing vacuum. Which then if you forgot to hook it up to the engine vacuum system then it won't change.

Those ***** aren't always electric, they can be vacuum. I know it was in my old car. Only the fan speed was electric, the other two were vacuum lines. Now that was also an old 93 ford and I haven't examined the climate controls on my 98 camaro (I'll check it when I put my HU in) but I don't see why it wouldn't be vacuum.
I can check tomorrow possibly on mine whether or not it is vacuum or electrical.
