Program the garage door opener to the ASR switch or foglight switch.. Hey i was wondering if anyone knows how to set the ASR or Foglight switch to the garage door opener... if anyone knows how to or someone that knows how please any info would help i know this would probably help other people out too thanks alot...

You don't want to use a fog light switch because it's an on/off switch. An ASR switch is momentary which would work better for a garage door opener. Here is a post from a while ago with details: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....1&postcount=27.
You may need a 12V to 9V convertor to replace the battery in the opener. Some of them use the 12V barrel batteries but many use an ordinary 9V battery.
I assume you mean to add an additional switch because most people wouldn't want to give up the factory ASR function to open their garage.
