Default Ipod with stock monsoon?

Ok, I've been searching through pages and pages of results with no answer concerning the stock monsoon HU, I even read the FAQ. Onto my question: Is it possible to connect an Ipod to the stock monsoon unit or do you have to buy an aftermarket HU (don't want to go that route)? Is there some type of connector to buy to make this possible? I'd like to retain my stock monsoon system and not have to carry around all my CD's (weight reduction, ya know ). If this topic has already been covered, I seriously could not find it in my searches.

There is a kit that Best Buy sells that you can hook up your IPOD unit to your GM H/U. It was only $100 when I bought mine. It hooks w/ my monsoon at the back where it is hidden and there is a connection to your Ipod that comes out of the back or under the dash.

I have an "ipod-2-car" mady by PAC-Audio, which workes fine with the stock monsoon. I believe they have renamed it to "ipac" or something like that, but google PAC-audio and look at their products, they'll have something that will work.

you could buy the fm transmitter type that you plug your ipod into and then tune into 99.1 o9r something, like back in the day at the older drive-ins. But i didnt know you could wire it into your monsoon either, ill have to look into it. Does that mean you iphone as well?
