Default Got my Alpine iDA-X100 - loving it!

I've just returned from a week in the US (Annapolis, MD) and brought back to Belgium the new Alpine iDA-X100.

I really love it. It navigates through my iPhone as quickly as if I was to do it directly from my iPhone. The menus are super simple, with only a minimum of buttons. It sounds terrific with my Focal components, JL Audio subwoofer and Audison amp. I'm a happy man

I put the iPhone in my glovebox:

I haven't set the time on the clock yet. Another possible display is full screen album artwork.

Yep and this is a great application for a car that has alot of power and may tend to have more vibration than the average car. No CD skipping ever plus endless possibilities for music playback with usb, iPod, MP3, etc.

I just got back from best buy looking at that unit and a kenwood DX-512. I'm leaning towards the Kenwood, but I'm worried about it getting stolen. That Alpine does look damn good in the dash, but I'm a sucker for Technology.

this only works with ipod and usb flash drives.(no cd player)
you will need the swi-jack for the steering wheel controls.

I just wish it still had a CD player in it, they look killer and I can get Alpine stuff at cost. I just don't think MP3's sound as good as CD's....
