Your DR's are going to be your biggest help for sure. From a roll it may be close pending his shifting points/knowledge. If he is stock geared then I'm sure you'll edge him out both ways.

lol I'm on both of those sites, but you are thinking of TXJeep98 or TXJeep something.. he has the same color, very similar. I am considering a LS1 swap this summer though, depends on what kinda deal I can find for a LS1/4L60E..
But I never knew those year Cobras were that fast? Maybe it's that my friend always raced from a roll.. A near stock (intake) dumdumdumdumdum put a few cars on my buddy from a maybe 30mph roll.. so I dunno..

yeah thats right. i remember it is the same color. but yeah the 99, 01 cobras have the same (at worst) or more hp than the 05+ gt's and they weigh just a tad less. i know "jawsgt" ran 13.6 in his stock 05+ gt. so the cobra should be capable of at least that. but of course that takes a good driver. most i've seen need the driver mod.
