04 Mach vs. 00 Lightning Mach 1 Mods
-Lowered
-Cold Air Intake
-Exhaust
-Subframe Connectors
-Some other Suspension parts
-Gears ( We guess 4.10's he bought the car like this)

Me and a buddie of mine were sitting at the local hangout (K-mart) in his orange mach1 5-speed car. We had been trying to coax a 75 shot GT car to come out and play with us but no bite. Bout 30mins passed by and I reckonized another friends Black Lightning driving through the parking lot. I looked over at the mach owner and said hes game if ya just pull up next to him I talk to him so we follow. We drive up beside the Lightning and the Mach Chirps 2nd just playing around. All of the sudden the lightning just floors it no honk or nothing. So we chase but couldnt catch him due to the headstart. We get back up next to him he does the same thing. SO I told my buddie to get up next to him I would let him no it was me this is what he said
ME- "quit Jumping like a Sissy"
Him-"damn dude I didnt know it was you youre a chevy boy"
Me- "lets take it to the parkway and see whats up"
Him- "Im running late to GF's place bring that Camaro out and I'll get the Mustang. (hes got a full bolton heads and cam Fox)
ME- "Nah dont feel like embarassing you tonight"
Him- "alright then be scared then"
Me- laughing "tell you what get it and run the mach straight up if you win I'll go get the camaro and give you everything its got"
Him-" nah some other time man I got stuff to do"
Well he floors it again without warning and were left playing catch up again. But we catch him at a light Finally.
Mach- "finally gonna see whats up with this truck"
me- "hell yea F*ck him up"
Lightning- "lets do it here"
Mach- "cool with me"
Lightning- "on Green go"
Light turns green and its on. Both go outta the hole spinning like mad because its so cold outside. Mach is edging him out while there spinning. THe mach grabs second and hooks and starts a slow steady pull about 2 cars out at the finish. Around 90 or SO. We didnt get to talk to the Lightning guy anymore cause he was obvisouly goin to his GF'S house cause he turned left down her street throwing it 10 kinds of Sideways smoke rolling off the Tires. Awesome sight to see.
Oh well I know we will eventually run the Fox and the 78 on the street so I'll try to get it on video. Should be a good one cause its a pretty nasty little fox.

Nice kill.
I had a lighitning toy around on the highway REAL late one night. He had a huge *** BBQ tied down in the bed and sounded like it was misfiring every time he got on it. Horrible exhaust or wasn't running right......even with me on 7 cyl. I still put lengths on him......two 'hurt' fords going at it....it was funny.

nope. Both take some 'finesse' (if you would), but the mach when launched right, is a monster. L's are too, don't get me wrong, but let's not forget teh weight difference for traction over the 'bed' and rear of the mach. L's launch better than reg. trucks because of their suspension and tires, etc, but they're not exactly easy.

Two different animals BlkZ28559. Mach has more power and the S197 has better suspension/chassis. Not to mention the stock tires.....oh gawd CrapBacks....why Ford, why?

I thought S197 were rated at 300 hp and the mach 310 hp. Suspension I am clueless I just no what my two feet and two hands tell me LOL.
