New ricer move? Civic Si Turbo pretends to want to race. Driving along a 3 lane street yesterday (in the right lane), I see a black Civic Si coupe with ricer bodywork in my mirror, weaving his way through the traffic.
He gets behind me at a light and it's the typical rice punk driver at the wheel.
Once the light turns green he persists to nudge his way past the car next to him so he can get next to me.
He finally achieves his goal, gets to the center lane, throws me a rev (I hear the turbo spool) and paces my car for a couple of seconds.
Just when I decide to put him away, he swerves into the left turn lane at an intersection we are coming up on, and hits the brakes to turn left (and proceeds to turn left!).
What was that all about? Why must ricers do such things?Got me all worked up for a run and then -runs away!
Where's that de-ricer bottle you guys sent me!

I dont know maybe he saw a cop and he's on the run so he ran away. Or maybe he remembered he had something important to do and had just remembered. It's anyone's guess. Later.

That is one of the stupidest quotes I have read. That ricer was probably BULLITT's buddy too

Re: New ricer move? Civic Si Turbo pretends to want to race. The guy obviously had a reason for turning away. What it is/was, I do not know. Anyhow, just venting. All the guy succeeded in doing was reinforcing the ricer stereotype.

Re: New ricer move? Civic Si Turbo pretends to want to race. AAAAAHHHHHHH! I HATE RICE!! It reminds me of the time I was in my camaro with some friends, and a maxima 2 lanes over wanted to run. We were both sitting at the light. I did not hear the quiet peice of crap. Anyway, he takes off and I finally realize what happened. I floor it and a f*ckin trail blazer pulls right out in front of me. I had to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting him. I got in the middle lane to catch up. I end up passing him on the freeway going 70 mph, and I throw him a rev. Of course he sit ther like a dumbf*ck, and then does a RICER FLYBY when I am getting off the freeway!!!!!

He drove a Sentra SE-R witht he worst fart exhaust ever. He used to tell my best friend's girlfriend that "automatics are slow. anybody who drives an auto is either a bitch or a ***." in those exact words. The best part was, he was the worst stick driver ever. The kid stalled more than a beginner, and he'd been driving stick for like 5 months. My best friend's girl (who is friends with him for some crazy reason) said he used to have to recite to himself the steps of shifting... "Clutch, shift" lmao. What a tool. I challenged him to a race for 50 bucks, I told him I'd show him how slow my automatic was, but he declined. Instead, he told me "I've got a friend with an 8-second Acura TL Type S that will **** all over you." Right.
