Default BE CAREFUL OUT THERE >>> Bad wreck Not Racing :(

Not sure if this is in the right section but ... the Owner SlowGoat is a freind of mine and he had a freind in the car with him.. so i thought i would put this on here for the Younger drivers .. You need to be careful no matter where you are or what your doing. Powerful cars need to be handled with care.

NO he was not racing the car just had been tuned and dynoed and it broke loose bad then hit an object and flip into a ditch... If you will plz pray for both men and their kin, i would apprecate it ..

The car 03 Gto
Ls1 Built bottom end
Heads/Cam/Nos
Full bolt on
seen it in the low 7's on spray in an 8th

Here is the link to the thread with the Whole story and Pictures as im not sure of the whole story i was not there.

Damn, it says they were not wearing thier seat belts but in this instance, it may have been a good thing. Im sure they will pull through just fine. Now the GTO on the other hand...not so much.

Don't even want to look @ the pictures. Seen enough people lose their lives in accidents. My prayers go out to them and their families and friends. Hope they pull through.

They said the passenger was ok, he was wearing his seatbelt and escaped with only scratches. Driver seems to be in pretty bad shape but will recover. My prayers go out everyone who is affected by this

Very Sad. God Bless him and his loved ones. not something you ever want to deal with, let alone a week before Christmas, Jees.... amazing they survived. be careful out there guys, just yesterday a friend of mine ran from the cops, like an ***, and got locked up, he could have very easily ended up like those guys.
running in a fast car, it only takes a small dip, slippery surface or an over correction to create a disaster. That's horrible..

seat belts are only good for front inpact accidents but can also be just as bad if they are holding you in place while someone nails you on the side or in this case while your sliding sideways into a tree(side impact accidents). My prayers go out to them and their families.

That was at a local shops dyno day.I saw that wreck happen.Im really suprised it didnt kill both of them.the roads around here, and especially the one he was on are not the greatest for a car putting down that kind of power.my prayers go out to them and their families. From that i could tell they were doing a burnout and something happened and the car went off the road and hit a tree on the drivers side and the front half of the car flipped into the creek. The guy driving was laying in the water for about 10-15 minutes before the ambulance got there.

Stockz whats the condition of the driver as of now?
