Raced a blown Steeda Stang. READ
THIS IS MAKE BELIEVE IT DID NOT HAPPEN.
I'm on my way home last night, and my phone rings. It's a friend from downtown telling me theres a supercharged Mustang out there. I said "I'll run him", and headed that way. I got there and saw the car. It was amazing. A 302 Steeda with a trick-flow intake, full exhaust work, and a Vortech S-trim blower cranking out a whopping 10 lbs of boost. He says on a dyno jet, he puts out 480rwhp! DAYUM! He said he runs 12.1's consistently. We both wanted to run and we did. He was touring the local hot spots in search of the fastest cars around, and I was on an ego trip, cuz they called me to deal with it. I have never raced on my drag radials at this time, so I didn't know what to expect.
The race:
I light em up and so does he. We line up, and he blew of an intake line from all that boost. So, we restart and we go again. Dead stop. I can finally stall the car up without spinning, and I loved that. I stalled it to 2000rpms, when capable of 3500, and launched like a ******* madman. The Nittos hooked quick and I was gone. He also had Nittos. I put about 4 cars on him quick and at about 120 I had about 6 cars on him. He was not catching me. I will be 11.5-11.6 area on these tires. They rule.
The guy was actually pretty cool, and admitted that he had his *** handed to him. Fun night on the town.

Nice kill! Sounds like the car was pretty nice. That's cool that he admitted his loss and didn't make any ricer excuses.

nice kill and that sounds like a cool guy driving the stang too. if he was touring the hotspots, were was he from. there must not be that many fast cars were he came from. 12.1 is very quick but we have a plentful amount here in houston that do that every day.

480rwhp and only runs 12.1s? WTF, are you sure this was not a supra!! With 480 to the ground in a fox bod stang his trap speeds should be 129.
I have 274 to the ground and run 12.20s-12.30s at 108-109.

Not sure on year, but all Steeda parts. ZR28 is the custom look and performance my car has. I actually made custom emblems for it that say ZR28. Just stands out a bit more.
