Default killed a charger

I was driving the other day in the 02 when i was sittin at a light a guy in a charger with his music real loud pulled up. He rolled down his window and asked if i wanted to race. I had my girlfriend in the car and really wasnt in the mood to race to be honest. So i told him id pass, he gets this smirk on his face and turns to his buddy and said something and then turned back and said yeah id bust your *** anyway. I just laughed and said yeah your probabbly right and then rolled my window back up. We drove for a little and he stayed beside me and kept speeding up and slowing back down and looking over at me. I was getting kind of iritated cuz i just wanted to go home as it was like 1am. But he was just being ignorant so i said what the hell ill just shut him up. The speed limit was 35 which is a nasty spot for me if i put it in first, so i did. I guess he heard me because he started to honk. On the third honk i layed into it and chirped the tires and then proceeded to walk from im pretty hard. i let out at only like 85 but i was a good 2-3 cars ahead. He just kept going after i let out of it and turned at the light ahead of me so i didnt get to talk to him. But it made me feel good his buddy watched him get his *** kicked

Nice kill OP. What is it about those Charger owners that makes them think their cars are so fast? I have yet to see a really fast one. SRT-8's aren't that bad either.

Edit: guess someone deleted their post between the two of mine....

They're fast for what they are. A 4300 pound sedan. I think a lot of SRT owners like the one in the OPs post (cocky) let the "fast for what it is" go to their head and think it's the **** and can beat anything on the street...

Nice Kill, the Charger owner was a tool. The "new" Charger enthusiasts & also the one owner that I know are of the opinion that even the SRT is a sedan with enough power to do some spirited driving now & again, but is mostly an enthusiats conversation piece for car gatherings. They basically feel that it's a fun car that's modeled after a car w/ Muscle car History. Only a clewless turd would think it's a street demon.

Jwahdan, Sorry for the off topic post. This will be the only reply so that we don't step on your thread. Again, nice kill. That guy needed a good whoopin'

PNYKLR-TA,
It's nasty, but there are nastier. It's a street/road course set-up (not set-up for drag racing). Thanks for the interest. Here are a couple of pics.

Too bad the driver had more attitude than knowledge and ability with his car and yours. Nice kill.

nice kill, i dunno what it is about charger owners. There's a kid around here who bought one, always thinks he's badass when he kicks it out sideways turning and does little burnouts.

He tried to race my buddies C4....tried because he couldn't keep up with a 9 second drag car.
