Default Mustang Down

Well i am from a town where most everyone into drag racing is into mustangs BIG time. I am a chevy guy through and through so i heard about a turbod z for sale close by and ended up buying it. A few people knew i had it so thought it would be fun. One evening on my way to the track for test and tune i am rolling down the interstate and a buddy of mine comes cruising up beside me in his mustang not knowing it is me. He gives the usual rev as he pulls up then down shifts and takes off. My car is quiet doesnt sound like its anything at all........that is till u push the go pedal. We were at about a 75 roll and the reaction when i went around him with smoke rolling off the tires was hilarious. He said he didnt know what the hell was going on thought he had me covered then there was a loud whistle and i was gone. Just thought some others would find this funny as i did.

I'd like to see some stuff on it too.

Not calling BS, unless it is, but sounds pretty sick.

clicked on the link that stopsign posted. and i'm a little curious too, OP you need to be ready for questions when you have a car like that. not sure what you bought it for but if those dyno numbers are over a 1000 rwhp. there is a ton of money in that engine and turbo combo and keeping the drivetrain intact isn't exactly cheap either. were you on drag radials? if it literally smokes the tires at 75 mph then thats downright scary on the street. my 402 car gets a little squirrely at 65-70 on street tires and i couldnt imagine what it would feel like at double that rwhp on the street lol. nice kill, you should start racing bikes at that power level though.

hmmm, i still think that it would take more than 725rwhp to have smoke really ROLLING off the tires...

i believe i could probably white smoke at close to those speeds on nitrous.... but it by no means would be rolling off..

rolling off=the car behind you cant see jack ****..
