Default Cam Only Z28 vs 01 Z06 *video*

well me and a friend got togeather the other night and got a few runs ins. his is a 01 z06 with a k&n drop in filter, gutted stock cats and a mild street tune. mine is a 98 cam only 232/234 cam, with bolt ons and 3.90's

1st race was a 55 roll me in 3rd him in 2nd and i jumped out about a car and as we rounded 5th he was starting to pass me.

2nd race "video" again a 55 roll and i got about a car on him he says but then that dam 5th gear of his he creaps by me. we stayed in it till the top of 5th for me is over 170.

we both had another person in the car with us. just me in my car is 3700 so add another 125 and i was around 3825, not sure how much a 01 z06 weighs but goes to show, how weight, gearing and aerodynamics comes to play.
