2001 Z vs Mach 1

2001 Z vs Mach 1 Well, I'm heading home on 290 around 6:30pm yesterday....
Just crusing around 60 to 62 MPH in 6th gear....my RPM's at 1500 or so...
In my rear view mirror, I see a white stang coming up fast on the far right lane....I was on the fast lane....(yeah I know, 60 MPH in the fast lane...
...what was I thinking)
Well, when he approches me, he slows down to my speed and gives me a couple of REVS.... and takes off...
I didn't do anything at first, but I notice that it was a Mach 1 (with paper plates, brand new)...He slowed down to wait for me to catch up....
So I downshifted all the way to 2nd gear
we gave the ole 3, 2, 1.. and we are off....immediately, I was a car and a half ahead of him.... 
He didn't have a clue of what got him....shifted in 3rd and I was gone.... reached 120 mph in 4th and then I slowed down and waited for the Mach to catch up...
I waited and waited but was problably so ashamed of what just had happened...
I even missed my exit waiting for him....but didn't see him again
He thought that he was messing aroung with a V6 or something....I admit, my car looks like a V6....I have the stock 16" wheels and it doesn't look mean at all.
He must not have noticed my borla from the rear....and of course when I was crusing at 60 mph in 6th gear, it's really quiet...
I'm definitely not a Top Dawg, but to him I probably was...
he got owned...
Maybe he'll change his mind and return that stang...

Poor guy, maybe now he can devote some energy to actually making his mustang faster then his list of people?? NAAA! Mom cut the allowance off...

I know right now he is sitting behind his laptop with his 4 inch thick coke bottles ITCHING to reply to a thread about a mustang and camaro race where the camaro won and as soon as he starts typing he hears his mom saying "I thought I told you to stay away from that site after they made you cry the last time!!" His slow mustang would need a lot of allowance money just to hang with a stock ls1 and even more to hang with the 03 cobra. But maybe someday his mommy will buy him a faster car like a ls1 or blown cobra.

Re: 2001 Z vs Mach 1 Awesome kill. I like the new Mach1s. It's impressive the power that Ford is getting out of that N/A 4V Mach1 motor. It's almost even with the LS1. Good job pulling him.
