Porsche Turbo goes down
I was pacing an LT1 Camaro when I go by a Earlier generation 911. I was itching for some action since I have been working a lot and have been on vacation. I hadn't driven my car in 3 weeks. I couldn't get the LT1 to engage so I continue and the Porsche stays with me. I slow down to let him catch up. That is when I notice it is a turbo(previous generation). He does a couple of little throttle blips so I think he might be game. We get up to a light. It goes green and I am ready but he doesn't go. He clears the intersection and hits it and then so do I. I had no traction but still went by him spinning. After the point was made, I lift and he does a fly by. At the next light some redeneck in an F150 says, "Gawd Dayum that thang is fast." I said thanks. We turn onto a better street. Then we get side by side for a better start. I let him hit it first and he does and then I go by him fairly easily. As we part he waves and I could tell he was slightly irritated. He had one of his homies in the front seat. Anyway, I thought those things had a little more ***** than that.

Re: Porsche Turbo goes down
What year was it John?
In the right hands they should run fairly close to you if it was 1996 and up, but if it was lower than that then they are indeed slow.
Nice Kill!
