Titanium Barchetta/ ? for you This kid i know wants to race me for $200. He drives a 99 or 2000 Mustang GT. I have heard that he has beaten a completley stock 2001 Z28. But i have a 98 Z28 w/ lid, ported MAF, and a Vig.3200. I know you know alot about mustangs, so what all would be needed on his car to beat mine? I know hes not spraying and he doesnt have forced induction. thanx.

Re: Titanium Barchetta/ ? for you No chance in hell he'll beat you without FI or nitrous just like EvilStang said. Don't let the gears, pulleys, tires, intake, exhaust scare you. They are still turds unless the motor has had major internal work done.

I know my car is not quicker than a Z06 but, I smoked one for 1000' this past saturday at Byron Dragway.
Be serious with yourself about your driving ability.A slow car (mustang GT) can beat a fast car if the driver of the fast car isn't very good. If you know you're at or near his level of driving experience have at him because your car should be superior.
Good luck and if you win you have to buy beer for everyone that responded. That's how this works

He said he still wants to meet up sometime, just not sure when. Just so you guys know, he did have a T-88 on the car and has a GT-42 now, which is better so the POS prolly runs pretty hard, but I am still willing to rape him for yall.
