first real race in the car since I put the 6-speed back in it. a couple bikes came charging through traffic to end up beside me at a red light, the guy kept revving his junk and i waited til right before we launched to give him a rev back and as soon as the lights hit he took off, (couldnt ride for shit) i had to ease into it because my tires are bald - i finally get hooked up and lay into it, nail 2nd and we're off, he's tucked under like he's a pro bike racer or some shit, and i get right beside him and when i hit 3rd i start pulling him and up to 100 or so i'm pullin on him hard and he's in my rear view!! i dunno what size bike it was could just tell by the body on it that it was a katana - probably a 600 or smaller. I was pumped. After the first run, he gets up beside me on a 45 or so roll and revs it and dumps so i do the same and pull him til he's at my rear fender then i slow down and hold up my "For Sale" sign to him and I see him start laughing - maybe i'll sale it now

lol at the Kanatuna...those things are slow as shit, they trap 107-109 in the 1/4.

They have 600cc and 750cc Katanas. From the outcome, I'd say it was probably a 600. Good kill. Those are some big heavy bikes... think of it as a Hayabusa with half the engine :jest:

Yeah it isn't the GSX-R, it is just a regular street bike that most regular riders can start on. I have a 07 Kawi 600 not the ninja and it only traps 121 but that was my first time out so it probably has 122-123 in it.

Katanas are fat and slow bikes.

Now I know where all the "so I killed a 600 today" stories come from.

Looking at their times...first half of the track isn't "too" bad...but seems like they fall on their face past that.

Ninja 500s are pretty slow... 13s bikes I think.

i knew kanatunas were poop but didnt realize by out running on in a car it was looked down upon. I thought it was cool myself, my first time out running a bike in a car.

bottom line bro, you beat a bike. thats good in my book, unless its a huffy...they're quick, but not that quick.

yeah - well i guess i forgot to mentiion his bike had NAWS and a couple or 3 turbos!

Lol then people would be asking for what mods you have, even a gixxer 600 is very fast.
