win some lose some...
took the mach out to the track friday just to get a few runs in.raced a newer gt and put about 4 cars on him.then lines up with a lt1 car that i am sure was stock and put about 4 on him.then raced a pewter ls1 ss.stayed ahead of him until the 1000 ft mark then he edged me by about a fender through the traps.he wouldnt tell me what he ran but told me he had difrent ypipe?no cats and gears and a couple other things i couldnt remmember.overall had a pretty good night but car wasnt running to great, had a head wind and i wasnt able to get it to 60ft as good as usual.

Sounds about right. He probably had a small amount of boltons. The LS1 topend was what got you, but I'm impressed that you stuck with him. The more I hear, the more I respect the Mach 1. Definitely a sick car
Whatd ya run against the SS?

actually could only muster a 13.5,with the headwind it was over 2mph slower and my 60ft's were a 10th off.last week it was running 13.30's.i should have went out on saturday because weather was much better and they prepped the track.

My buddy at work has a gunmetal gray Mach1....the best he could muster his first time at the track last December was a 13.9 @ 103. I'm trying to get him to go to Moroso with me this Wednesday. We still haven't run with each other yet...and I've had the car for a month now!

thanks guys, hey at first i was pretty disapointed in mine because all it would run was 13.70's on the first 2 outings.well i ended up dropping my shift points from 6600 to 6100 and it dropped almost half a second.2000ws6vert,recomend that to your friend.
unit....once i can drive this thing into the 13.0's i will start to modify it.i wont be doing to much just a gear change, tires and a few other things.just enough to make it run in the mid to low 12's.i am going to leave the exhaust alone.i love the quietness of the car.i drove around a loud low 11 second car to long
