so this guy with a civic hatchback wanted to race me tonight so we set up a 1/4 mile down an industrial street. he wouldnt pop his hood but he swore it was a N/A 1.6 vtec all motor. so being the nice guy, I gave him 3 car lengths. we go ahead and race and this thing hauls ***. at the end of the race he was about 2 cars in front of me. Turns out hes running a HUGE turbo and other goodies he wouldnt tell me about... i felt like **** because ive beaten a ferrari f430 before with my current setup. should i feel bad about this run? my ego is in the toilet right now hahahah

What a douchebag, why lie about your mods?-ive never lied about any of mine-if people wanna race me-this is what i have-take it or leave it. I think I would've asked to look under his hood first an if he said no, then i think that would tell you something right there.

I think it's so funny how people are condemning him for lying about his mods. I've seen tons of stories on this site where people do the same thing and everybody laughs it up. So good run, and yes you would have beaten him heads up; but it wasn't heads up, and he stuck your foot in your mouth spotting him lengths. So you'll know better next time

The import kids around here lie a lot about what they have too. It's some kind of import guy thing lol. Another tip... when racing a 2200lb car give them NOTHING! there's a hatch civic running around here with ~350whp in a 2200lb car.

Did you know that NO Ls car lies about mods? Its in the owners manual That we cant lie about mods.

And we SURE as hell dont have ANY hidden nitrous kits on this site.

LOL...I was going to say the same thing.

Why on earth would you give a Honda Civic hatchback that has mods to it 3-car lengths jump? You guys don't have any quick Hondas there? My friend's 92 Civic hatchback is NA and it runs high 10's. Cuts high 1.5x 60 footers at the track on slicks. I would never spot him any car lengths if I ran him on the street. You learned your lesson.
