Default My clutch can't handle another F&F movie

First time I took the T/A out since the movie came out. Well, apparently since then, every guy that drives a car with 6 or less cylinders thinks they have a rocket on wheels. I had 5 different cars try to race me today within a 30 minute period of highway driving (this is after I go a solid year without a single race until last week) .

1- First guy came up, an late 80's civic hatch. Primer gray, fart can, guy and his gf inside. He gets next to me, jams the gas a few times, and then point straight ahead. I oblige, dropping to 2nd@65, and he hits it so I follow. I'm not sure how far ahead I was, maybe a bus or two by 85 so I let off, he gets off the next exit.

2- Immediately after #1, a white integra with a black hood that looks pretty beat zooms up on my left, he is looking at me and talking to his buddy in the passenger seat. I hear him drop a few gears and vtec his way to glory, only to be seeing my taillights and 315's in about 4 seconds flat as soon as I could downshift. Same results as #1, I merge to a different road.

3- Bright purple bodykitted accord, not worth typing since its the same as 1 and 2.

4- Much better sport here, a blue S2000 gets up next to me, nice looking car with an older guy maybe 40's in it. He holds up 3 fingers so I nod and downshift, we went from a 50 roll on 3 honks. I made it to about 75-80ish with 2 to 3 cars on him before we had to shut down for traffic, he gives me a thumbs up and rolls off.

5- Finally get off the highway, and a white MkIII supra gets next to me at a light, he keeps redlining his **** and blowing black smoke everywhere, so the light changes and I ease through 1st with him right next to me, jam 2nd and pile it on up to around 120mph where he was a cloud of black smoke an 8th mile back or more. I wonder what was wrong with it.

I don't think my car can handle any more of this, my 10 bolt is begging for mercy and my clutch needs a trip to the dumpster. I hope they hold off on F&F 5 for a while until I get all that replaced.

Tell me about it. Every fart can ricer was causing mayhem at the movie parking lot that when I went there I passed 4 cop cars. There were some nice cars out there though also.

yes indeed if no one saw my thread some guy in a 350z was spouting off **** to me at a red light immediately after the movie, he was straight bouncing his car off the rev limiter. telling me i was compensating for something. uh huh, i'm in a 10k car, he was in a at least 15k car. mine just happens to have 100+ whp more, not my fault.

I almost went to see the movie tonight, but I got lazy and didn't. Who would have thought a movie could cost $600+ for a clutch, and bruise egos of ricers everywhere.

Guess what; we went to see F&F & afterward......nothing happened. Not one race, burnout, cop. Alot of these threads are over stated. Reminds me of when truckers get on the CB radio talking about how some hot chick is getting naked in the car next to them while driving down the freeway.

I live in hooptieville, I get a ricer who wants to go every time I take the car out. Its actually annoying, though sometimes its fun to smash their dreams.

I opened the cutouts up before we went out, so I got some jaw drops and pointing fingers but none even wanted to bother, it was actually kinda funny.

Raoul Duke: We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get into locked a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon.

And I didn't have anyone even rev at me after the premier, no cops in site.

There were idiots revving and whipping donuts in the parking lot when me and my buddy got out of the movie. The bad part was, they were ricers in muscle cars. And of course, since I had my car, and my buddy has his '04 GT, a couple of them were talking ****. Even though, I've beat the two fastest cars in their group, by numerous car lengths.

Glad to know someone caught on, been waiting for sicko to. And I'm sorry, that movie did not make me want to race at all. Maybe because nothing really looked tempting at the movie theatre. Civics that sounded horrible, stock looking and sounding integras. Old people in Mustangs. My clutch did not have a reason to complain, except that I was being too easy.
