Default S-10 vs C5 50th anvi

I'm alittle confused. Simple story, Ran down a nice looking C5 with 405 HP, Ran them 4 times, once in 1st and 2nd and 3rd twice.

Heres the things, I know on the street things change but, I ran 12.8's-9 before my tire swap to the 29's from the 26" tall tires.

The only time he took me was in the first pull in 3rd, I didn't register what gear I was in and just got on it lol. bad Idea, he put like 2 cars on me. All the other races I put a good car on him abd he wasn't pulling and I ran to the end of my 3rd witch is the end of a 1/4 for me at about 115mph.

These cars a rated at 12.2's, correct? And it couldn't be a driver mod since its pretty hard to just drive an automatic and it never lost traction. His car was stock with 36,xxx miles with the LS6 set up.

Could my 350 s-10 really pick up some tenths with the tire change?

No. They're ~13 second cars stock, +/- depending on driver.

Good kill though. They're no slouch at highway speeds.

LS6 was in the C5 Z06 only, and they were all 6spd manuals.

Got yeah, Well that would explain why I was ahead by one car. Also that would make his car like a 12.8-13.0 car corrrect.
What LS did he have in it?

That'd be the LS1. Now the '01+ LS1s did have the LS6 intake manifold but the non-Z06 cars were still using LS1s. And yeah, high 12s/low 13s @ ~106mph would be a good guess for an automatic car.

And yes I'm aware of the hole in my hood . Still looking for a new one.

It'll handle the lightning by about 2-2.5 when he isn't on the NOS. Its about a half a fender if he uses the 75 shot..
^^^ This is on the old motor with out my 150 shot.

Mom wont race hers, its a crate 383 so I would think high to mid 12's if she hooks.

Very nice! I don't understand owning a performance car and not racing it though, lol.
