01 Z06 vs 687hp supra and 03 Z06 vs 460hp supra So my friend and I went out to our local car hang out a few weekends ago. When we got out of our cars we were greeted by two supras.
03 Z06 vs 460hp Supra:
The first was white(auto) making 460rwhp he wanted to race my 03 Z06(CAI, Short Throw Shifter, and lowered
) So we did a 50 roll, naturally they are supras, and I pulled 2 cars on him. He said he could not build up boost even though he was brake boosting, so I told him to take the hit and he said he doesn't race like that. So I took that *** again from 45 roll 3 cars this time(we went up to 140).
01 Z06 vs 687hp Supra 6 speed:
My friends 01 Z06 is ... well nasty, lets just say it is not running the LS6 anymore. The guy said he made 687 or race gas and 590something on pump. So they did a 40 roll, naturally and by the time they were at 120 he had pulled 5-6 car on it.
The guy wanted another one so he ran him again, this time the supra was a little faster until it fuel cut and blew black smoke out of it. Turning up the boost past what it can handle FTL.
So what do we take out of this? LSX dumdumdum!!!

Next run with open road line up at 60 and bang he must have missed a gear or blew something because his car went nowhere. Litterally looked like he hit a wall. Needless to say I realize we never really got to go at it but I was happy with my bolt on auto LS1.

, anywho I think he probably turned the boost up on you a little past the tune. Supras are very picky cars at to which mods you do and how they are tuned. I have had Turbo and Supercharged cars and when you start messing with power adders the tune is everything.

Nice kills, though I'd expect the supra that raced you to have atleast pulled even with you. Unless he wasn't making as much power as he thought, you can't race dynos though.
I'm also curious about your friend's Z06, that must be pretty wild.

Props on the kill's guys. Were definitly going to have to stop by on our next trip to flordia. we have a san antonio trip planned for the end of the month. Going to try and get some good footage while were down their.

Please stop by MS, pm me your Phone# and I will reply with mine. I have a lot of friends with faster cars than that 01 that LOVE to race. The 01 is a stroker newer model Corvette engine that is all I am going to say...

but it was only on its break in tune... it is going to get retuned pretty soon so it should be mo-nasty!

Oh i was joking entirely..
I have my formula. I have pics up and a soundclip if you care to look.
Right now im trying to decide if im going to buy the Bmw i want.. if i do the formula will get very "drag oriented" very fast. One day the formula will be a dragster with turn signals... that gets raced on the street.
