Formula vs Harley?
So i was going to get something to eat earlier and some harleys were going going by trottling the gas like most do to hear the exhaust.. so i give it a lil gas just playing around.. while i was in the drive thur waiting for food they went by 2-3 times just cruising.. then later after i ate i went back out just to cruise a lil bit and saw the same bikes, i catch up to them i let the exhaust rumble a lil by them i get to the leader on a black harley no clue what (model or size) i shift back up were going about 35-40 i heard him kick it so i drop it down to second and floor and the bike just hands me my a$$ on a platter to about 100 when we shut down. he had me by about 2 cars before he shut off. Is this normal from a mostly stock formula? mods in sig.. I dont know to much about harleys performance specs. but that thing FLEW..

Most harleys tend to be pretty quick. My 1200 gets up to 120 fairly easily. I'm guessing you would probably pull on him from a faster roll depending on what model/mods his bike had. I've heard of a few beefed up 1450s able to do 160+ MPH but that would be scary as hell IMO.

It depends what mods are done to the Harley. I had a American Ironhorse Texas Chopper with a 124 CI S&S Harley motor built to the ***** that made 130 HP at the rear wheel with gobs of torque. I never raced anyone but it moved out.

Thats what i was thinking, but if he raced a modded harley and he is stock, then thats why it was total annihilation, cause i raced a bone stock harley not too long ago and we were back and forth, i had him out of the hole. He caught right back up and had about a bike or 2 on me, then by about 80 i started to slowly catch up.

Most 1200 sportsters I've seen run mid/high 13s.
And I always loved ******* with the Harley guys, mostly the ones on 883/1200 sportsters taht think they're the **** because they have some pipes.
