Default Honda boys will love this! mustang guys wont.

I took my 94 prelude out for a little test drive. It has a H22 5spd and exhaust by magnaflow. Well mind you this car is a beater and its all primer out and sanded with no front bumper. But anyway Im drive down the road and a 06-07 model stang flys past me louder than hell lol. This guy jams on the breaks and gets next to me and say u wannna go? Im like **** why not lets see waht this handa can do. I told him to honk it it because my horn dont work He wanted a 30 punch and im like fine. Three honks boom I get tourq steer and he is wheel hoppin but we hook about the same time AND IM PULLING HIM!!! I was like WTF Hit third and Im 1 car ahead of him and he is not catching me 4th I could not pull him anymore So we pulled over and talk he ask me if I was spraying I told him no. I did tell him about the motor swap and other stuff. He had a cai and 410 gears Im like you should have destoryed me. He says his stang is a beast and cuts mid 13 at the track but WTF He look over the car I pop the hood and all needless to say he was alittl pisst but I told him its all in fun Im not a import guy hell I drive a Z.

All the mods in the world wont help if you cant drive, and don't know what gear to put it in. Good kill.

Something tells me you beat a driver with hocks of meat for hands.

If you were swapping, why didn't you go with something better than an H22a?
You're probably making 170 at the wheels (or less), so he really should have destroyed you...

I think it is pretty funny that Honda made the prelude to be a Grand tourer

I don't know, those VTEC Preludes are high 14/low 15s cars in the right hands stock. And I had one pull on my old Integra HARD from 90-130mph, and my Integra trapped 93-94mph. So they're pretty stout for a 4cyl. Discerning, what would you have swapped if not an H22a?

13.7 with a completely built motor is not that impressive. . . i've seen stock swapped H22's in EG's go mid 13's.

Not saying that im any kinda fast or anything bad about the car, just with I/H/E on a built motor if i went 13.7 i'd blow my car up. regaurdles of how many cylinders it had.

I/H/E is just bolt ons Ben...intake header exhaust. Not aftermarket heads and **** lol. Only semi built is the pistons, but hell...thats not much of a mod anyway, given stock heads, no boost and ****. Good for the spray, but other than that, those pistons don't do alot N/A. Maybe raised compression a bit, but headwork would gain more I would think.

There's a guy here who had an h22 swapped hatch, and that thing would move out pretty well. I am thinking that car was a v6, and btw, the new v6 stangs are still not impressive. Much better than the older ones though. Good kill either way, make him eat the hondas dust lol.

I would almost rather have an h22 swap than any other swap lol.

I really don't care...

The fact that you got upset over my comment is kind of funny though.
But you're right; swapping motors into preludes is completely worth it, high 13's after mods is ridiculously quick, and the H22 is the best motor ever made.

I mean, who would want a K20a over an H22?
Better yet, who wouldn't want to waste their time and money on swapping a motor into a prelude...

soooo when did they start considering i/h/e and oem piston fully built??? if that is fully built then i guess i have no need to continue modding my camaro...learn a thing or two.
