Default DEATH by GT-r (with his wife in it)...ow....

Me =2005 c6 M6 all stock 12.5@114 at GLD.
Him= holy ****...

At the light... I said " Wanna see how all that money goes?"

He said "Sure... but you'll have to ask my wife."

She says "Go ahead"

So we did.

I had him to about the top of my 2nd gear---- he came by me with 10-15 mph on me... All I read on the back was "Chip Foose"....????? (not the plate)

FAST CAR

Yeah, I just had the pleasure of getting beat by one of those the other day. They're definitely fast as hell. Sounds like you bit off a little more than you could chew.

Not here in the great Pacific Northwest. They are still going for 10K over sticker, just like Challengers and Camaros. Its retarded that these dealers think they can get away with it. One of the Dodge dealers out here is on the close list and they wonder why. Maybe its the dealer markup of 10K when I can drive to a different town, less than 10 miles away and find 10 Challengers at 5K over or at sticker and they tell you up front that its negotiable, after they check to see if you can actually buy. Dealers dug their own graves, I hope they sleep well in them.

by that i did not mean brand new. Autotrader some used for 73k or so. Nobody pays sticker price lol. Funny that the cheapest new ZR1 I could find on there that was used was 120k though.

The Zr1 and the GTR aren't really in the same league IMO. . a c6zo6 would be a much better comparison to the GTR. .which you can pick up used for $4x,000 all day long from what I've seen. The better deal seems pretty obvious to me

I don't care how much this guy spent on his car and how much I spent on mine; he beat me. Time to step up my game.

We tried playing with one last week in Houston area, the driver was reluctant until his exit got close and then he decided to give it alittle gas and show some respectable accelaration. A heavily modded Vette against a GT-R...... Maybe next time.

To be honest, if I were to fork over or even have near the cash needed to obtain a GTR, I wouldn't be racing it lol. Nor a zr1 for that matter. And I guess I would hope you can find them for 40 all day long because they based when they came out at 42-50.
