I was running shitty a$$ Avon M500's and on this particular road they wheel hopped bad so I was peddling bad, The Cobra was on Nittos which arent great but better then what I was running. Its also a lowered car without relocation brackets. So just a few things to fix and I could go from a dig.

1. Select gear (any gear)

4. Show courtesy and give a thumbs up after the race is over. After all they dont know any better they did buy a gm.

You can actually get yours to hook up? I hooked up better with the IRS than the SRA on the street. On the track it was no contest- the SRA was tons better.

I thought you installed it so your old *** could understand how it worked. The IRS would be a bitch at your HP level. It would hook or break and the line would be nearly invisable(sp).

I'm likely older than you or at least the same age so don't take the old comment as an insult.

You must not have had quality parts. All my stuff is Wolfe. The suspension works like a champ. It plants the rear end hard. I have some 28" M&H racemaster drag radials on order which will help tremendously over my
26" MT ET drag radials with my 3.90 gear.

Obviously my car won't dead hook on the street. That just doesn't happen
with any car even at the 400rwhp level, but it hooks plenty...enough to
want to run from a dig as opposed to going from a roll. I have the
advantage from a dig.

The only problem with the IRS is that it breaks (big problem!). I broke it
at the track while spraying the KB for the first time...too much torque
twisted a half shaft in half.

I can't even remember what parts I used but it did plant HARD at the track. 1.52 60's consistently

Those M&H DR's are GREAT. I used those for a while and I hooked so much better than my MT radials.

Good runs OP. I wish I could find a terminator to run around here, I ran into one the other day that wanted to but he had to get off the road before traffic cleared up.

My car must be a freak because it dead hooks unless I drop the clutch at 5k rpm. I seriously can't even get a squeak on the 1-2 shift.

Bingo. Every car will hook if you pedal it or launch at a low enough rpm.
I dump the clutch at 6k rpm at the track. Lower on the street. You're not making all that much power either really.
