Red face Bling Bling Type-S thinks he's worthy...

Ok I finally got my lazy *** out and did some work on my car to cure a misfire 2 days ago, but that's not the point of the story...

Today was pretty cold, like 40-45, but I figured I could take the Z28 out and take advantage of the cool air (the car doesn't have an intercooler)... Took it to my university and actually got a comment from a cop ("What kinda blower you got on there?") which was awesome, I can't really hear my whine over the exhaust lope. I told him "Vortech, 9 psi" and was on my way.

Anywho, on the way home, I notice some HUD headlights like MAD BRIGHT BLUE coming up hard on my ***. Keep in mind the limit was 50, i was going maybe 50-55 in the slow lane, on a 2 lane service road off Rt 23 in Wayne (for all you Northern NJ locals that don't exist on this board)... so I'm like, why doesn't this fool just pass me? He starts flicking his high beams at me, and pulls along to the left side right next to me. Turns out it's an Acura TL or CL, dunno which one, brand new type-S... The kid's got that whole sideways visor thing with the Versace or Gucci or whatever uberpreppy sunglasses (at night)... I knew immediately that he wanted to go, so I checked the radar detector and the A/F gauge, both clean, so I waited for him to hit it... when he did, I mashed the gas and got a VERY decent 2nd gear downshift, put mad cars on him within 4 or 5 seconds... Boy, I miss getting thrown back into those cheap GM seats

I know this isn't much of a kill story, they're only like mid to high 14 second cars, but I'm just excited about gettin the Z28 back on the road, finally.

Also, I killed some big *** leaf piles and a few plastic garbage cans in the Explorer later on as well... which was fun, but not quite as fun as killin a Honda.

Sweet kill SM! I've never read/seen a kill posted by you in your car. Glad to see that you got some action the same day you bring her out!

I usually don't post cause I never get good action. It's always Preludes and older Maximas trying to play around here... the fastest car I've raced was probably my friend Mike's WRX or my buddy Tom's 98 Mustang GT... I'm itching to race any LS1 car (C5, WS6, SS, etc) and see how I do.

I knew a kid from connecticut who drives a CL type S and dresses just like that. Man that kid is a complete moron. I wonder if that was him. I hated that kid.

Hehe, yeah, I sort of know where Wayne is, and Morris County is like an hour and a half away from me. I used to go there with my boy scout troop to summer camp every year. By me, I havent really seen any nice f-bods either, mainly stupid civics, and oh yeah, lots of riced out escorts too.

like i said to you fellow northerners, we have plenty of space to have more f-drivers and f-bod followers to come down and get a peice. same with the N.C. so who is going to pick up Milla before they head down!

[QUOTE=MillaTK]MAD GOOD KILL, YO Are those really that fast? QUOTE]
Yeah they are pretty quick for a 4 door sedan. My wife has a '03 TL type-S. I was very suprised when we bought that car. It doesn't have **** down low but on a roll they are pretty good considering it is a stock v-6 4 door grocery getter. I have seen specs that say they will do 0-60 in about 6.2 secs and the 1/4 in mid 14's @ around 95 mph. That is Mustang speeds

Thats funny. Same thing happens to me, some punk all "pimped" out trying to race in his honda or integra throwing revs at me. I just laugh and drive off!
