Wow...didn't know this video had gotten around so much.
I am the owner of the red SS, and the Cobra was and still is an 03. It was a race just for fun, as he knew what kind of power my car makes.

His car makes 430 to the wheels, so mine being a little lighter, I think I would win. But it would be very close, and I for one am a big fan of blow outs.

Track time was dissapointing at best. Made 3.1 runs with this set up, 1st two I spun so badly that I had to get out of it. 3rd run was a 11.5 at 125 with a high 1.7 60 ft...banged the rev limiter going to 2nd and spun in 2nd. Last run--the dr side axle broke in the diff...game over.
With much more practice it should be deep in the 10's...but- we all know what "could of..and should of" get ya.

Whatever the case, it looks (and sounds) like you've got a nice setup there. Nice work. Ford really screwed up by making the '03 Cobra so damned heavy. At 3,300lbs they would really cook.

I have to say I am quite impressed with your car. Not very often I get a chubby over a GM, but you did a good job!
