I must Report A DEATH! (I'm So Sorry) I don't post much but I have been reading here as much as I can for the last 2yrs. But anyway driving home from Oakland Ca to Stockton from clubn (I must say I came up on some cool looking girls) and I see two imports speeding kinda of fast and get of the highway so I follow them. They go to a industrial area where their is about 20 imports(not that much rice) street racing, so i'm like cool I'll watch for a little bit then go home. So I watch about 5 to 10 races and I'm like f#4k it I'ma line up once. So as soon as I start my car they all start screaming for this guy in a civic to race me. They all start jumping out of their cars to watch, you would of thought I drove up in lingerfilter vette. But he lines up loud as turbo, and a second civic lines up as well, so it was a 3 way (not fond of those). The flag man drops his arms and we all take off, I spin bad I mean bad off the line like for the first 60 to 70 feet feathering the pedal. But the three of us are neck and neck, me and the one with turbo pull the other one, and its me and him side by side surprising me a bit, and at about the last 100 to 200 hundred feet he shoots past me like I hit the brakes 
. Beat me by about 2 to 3 lenths. They were real cool said he was running 30psi. Is that High? Anyway the loss made my stomach sick 
. I have 99 ss A4 completely stock right down to the paper filter 
. Its now 8am pst and have not slept yet. Sorry for the lenth later.

No big deal really. Your 100% bone stock LS1 lost to a highly modified rice-mobile. I have a hard time believing he was running 30 pounds of boost though. Don't worry about it. That's good mod incentive don't you think?

I putting in a cam, long tubes, ls6 intake, and a stall very soon its just sitting in my garage collecting dust. I can't handle the emotional trauma of gettin spanked bad by civic.

Can someone explain this to me. Well after we all left were on the highway playin around and this Acura RSXI think, flys past me with his lights out and hits his hazards. Then he slows down to about 50 next to me, his passenger counts to three and I put many gridirons(football fields) and he finally catches up and turns his lights out and hit the hazards again. wtf is that? Does anyone have a webster rice dictionary with them? If you do look that up for me I've seem to have misplaced mine.

yeah usualy the lead car hits his hazzards to signafy the race is over. so if your not a dumb *** ricer you usaly spank the **** out of them untill you let off (not turning on your hazzards) so they blow by hit there hazzards and clames a victory for them selfs when really you stoped racing a long time ago.....
basically ricer coad for race is over.
most stock intakes explode after about 23-24 lbs of boost. you know he had to have had a big *** turbo that takes for ever to spool and nitrious. but yeah what he put into his car $4,000 turbo tires nitrious what you put into yours $2.95 air freshiner. its funny how much they have to put into there cars to run with a stock ls1 (kinda like owning a mustang
)

Yeah ricers are funny as hell, that usually don't know ****, but watch out for the ones with more money than they know what to do with. Like for instance, last night i saw a early model eagle talon awd. It raced a heavily modded LT1, it jumped him 4 cars out of the whole and didn't look back, it was crazy. But get so stuff done to that car and whip his ***.

very true smith, but you must remember that talons respond to mods well and you can get them relatively fast for not much money. i posted a dsm not to long ago runnin high 8's on a drag radial! and it could be driven on the street!

is a crapload of boost no biggie.

30 psi would have been alot worse than what he beat you there by! I highly doubt it was 30 psi, if so thats one slow *** civic. There are some people down here that run 16psi running mid to low 12's(116 mph). Also if you where spinning, I'm damn sure he was to.
