GTP vs Acura My dad, brother, and myself were driving up to Butler Indiana to pick up my brothers truck from the shop. As we were merging on the highway a black Acura went by us at 75ish. We ducked in behind the Acura. It started accelerating and so did we. At about 90 my dad got sick of it and floored it. He got left in the dust. I didnt catch what model Acura it was, but it was new enough that it had their bigger engine. I have never seen a GTP get beat.
The only add-ons my dad has are a K&N Air Filter and little red flames behind the GTP Emblem. I still dont know why he uses the 89 octane and not the 92.

So let me get this straight ...
1. it's your DAD's GTP ...
2. it has FLAMES!!! Cool dude, does it have NAWWWZZZ too?
3. it beat an ACURA (holy ****, you gotta have a badass car to beat one of those ~200 horsepower acura's)
4. you have "never seen a GTP lose" (I have utterly decimated dozens of them ... come over to NY and I'll show you)

Phantom I am not sure but I think he was saying that the Acura beat his dads GTP. I may be wrong but that is how I read it.
Anyway Damillio my wife has a Acura TL-3.2 Type-S and it will run even with the GTP from 0-60 BUT after that the Acura starts walking the hell out of the GTP. The GTP make its power in the low and mid RPM's the Acura doesn't start breathing good until about 3500 to 4000 RPM's. Don't feel bad about your dad getting beat he should have gotten beat.

Hmmmm.....I wore one of those Acura jobbers out in my TRUCK a while back.

well Damillio at least your closer to a kill story this time... um... i might just have to go to fort wain and pick you up so we can go hunting for gtp's that way you can see as many gtp's get walked as you wish to see.
