Mixed it up with any S RT4's yet?
My '04 went 14.0 @101 2.2 60'. It had a K&N drop in and a Stage 1 ecu. I think the fun factor (and lack of traction) was about the same!

With the turbo it feels like you're cheating a little each time it lights off just a bit. haha

wish i could get the traction for a 14 flat or under.
funny how i plan on adding more pwer and making launching worse....lol\

i have never messed with an srt. pretty similiar setups so it would be fun.
i find myself turning the radio off at times just to listen to the spool/blow off

I drove an 09 Cobalt SS and was very impressed ! Especially since I had a Stg 2 STI(Untuned)that was a beast ! I would buy a cobalt in a second if had the moneys.

If you free up the exhaust on it, the power will come ! Typical/Common turbo car upgrades start with a free flowing exhaust. I put a gutted stock DP on my STi(STi's have 2 cats on the dp) and picked up 15-20 hp.

Yeah, I agree with you on that. My first LT1 (1994 TA A4) ran a 14.1 @ 97 mph and seemed like greased lightning compared to my previous car (1987 GTA 350 TPI) that ran 15.3 @ 90 mph, haha.

From what I've seen though, the vettes of the same years were decently faster than the fbodies.

On a side note, I test drove a new Camaro SS two days ago. I'm sorry to say that there's definitely alot to complain about on that car. Lets just say that I won't be trading in the Camaro any time soon and it'd definitely be a step backwards from the G8.

It is not so much the exhaust on these.

I now have an evo that with very little mods went 12.59@109. I have about $11k in the whole car!
I'm going back to the track now that I have a real 3" TBE. We'll see....

Think boost hit is cool?
Going around a soft corner about 30mph in the rain hitting the boost in 2nd and THE WHOLE CAR SLIDES OUT !!!! Weird the first time but kinda cool now.

With the stage 1 kit, IC, and IC piping, I can hold 24 PSI. 1st gear is worthless and 2nd is about the same. When it gets into about 21-23 psi zone, it pings because we only have 91 Oct. I have HP tuner but haven't did any more programming. I also don't know if it';s the winter blend causing it. DP and K&N filter will go on soon.

I'll let you know what I find.
