heads and cammed is so fun was driving down "main street usa" and a kid in a stock 2000 f bod jumped behind me and followed me until we were out of town. he kicks it hard and blows by me. well he stopped and i pulled over and said hey lets get on the highway and go form a 40-50 roll.we went on the 3rd honk, i was absolutely amazed on how fast a heads/cammed car will pull a stock one. i had 10 lengths on him in about 5 seconds. after getting off at the next , all he could say was "man i aint got ****!"

thanx for the replys everyone, glad you all understand where i am coming from,with the kill story...wasnt meant to brag or anything like that, its just simply nice to have that much power at ones foot and to be able to roast another f-bod. although i would much prefer to do it to something else also, i,m always looking for a race..win or loose theres just something in my blood that drives me to it.

willraceyou do you have 5.7 heads or 5.3? How much was your combo?( I you don't mind me asking ) Also what do you think of your cam. I am trying to figure out what kind of combo that I want. I want about the same power that you are making.

Me coming to this site is like a crack head that is craving crack stumbling into a crackhouse. I didn't realize that there were that many people out there that had the same crazy *** addiction to power and speed.

99,ss... i love the cam i think its just right for the street. its not extreme,but you defenitely know its there. i have the 5.3 heads. and no i dont mind telling what i paid for my set up: for heads,cam,pushrods,headers,pulley,belts,timming chain set,and all bolts and gaskets= 2334, i did the install myself, then drove to tulsa and let ed wright tune it on his dyno.. put down 412 on stock tune,then he pulled 10 more out of it by the 5th pull.
