great vids. surprised it handled that M5 as well from a roll. hear those cars are beasts on the move..

that M5 was fast esp at higher speeds... only problem with them is TQ and of course weight thats why I asked for a 15mph roll, I have more tq and ~100lb lighter

L99's with a converter and a tune aren't. L99 is a cam away (and DOD lifter replacement) from low 12's on stock tires.

what exactly is the difference between the l99 motor and the ls3, the heads and intake are the same, the short block is the same.... so that leaves cam. Smaller cam?

yes, I believe the cam is smaller. and ive read in camaro5 that even the short block is slightly different

Its the same, just smaller bore 6.0l, DOD and an auto that needs a tune bad to perform the way it should!!

lol.... i know I had a short shifter installed few hours before racing that tt 350z, and for some reason, 4th was hard to shift to at first
happens to all of us..I was just giving ya hell..takes a bit to get the feel of a new shifter anyways

happend to me too--- put a pro5.0 in my car. nail 3rd everytime but 4th was a little elusive at first. had to get used to it.

cool..that z needs to turn the boost up and get off that weak sauce 7psi...those m5's have some top end pull

That was really impressive against that M5. Those are my favorite cars to run. the always pull on me but not massivly

the z guy want to be on the safe side. he says he wont turn the boost up until he gets a stroker. I believe he said max boost that his engine can take is 9 PSI... still 420hp not bad for a 350z

Same here. My best race ever was with a buddies swapped sc300 turbo.

We went from 20 to 120 and we were DEAD EVEN, even shift for shift. By far one of my favorite runs ive ever had.
