08 Mustang GT VS LT1

08 Mustang GT VS LT1 I was cruising down the road and see this lt1 camaro driving up next to me so we were cruising down the road for about a mile or two when we caught a light. He revved at me and then i returned the favor.
When the light turned green we both hit it i jumped out about a half a car and by third i had about a car to a car and half on him. i pull up next to him and he smiles at me says is that all you have, in which i replied is that all you have just to be an *** back
. He then said he was spinning the whole time in which i find it hard to believe to be spinning in all three gears though.
I got up next to him and he ask me what i had done i told him stock and he said he had a chip, but after it was all said and done we both gave thumbs up to each other and went our own ways.
On a side note on the way home from that i got the crap kicked out of me by a late 90's monte carlo in which i was caught totally off guard by.lol but still was kinda funny to see that car (which seem stock) pull my car like that, oh well cant win them all

Nice kill man, Mustang vs. Camaro is always a fun race no matter what. Are you auto or 5 speed? one of my coworkers has an auto 06 GT and I keep asking him to race me but he wont...hmm...

Nice kill, but why do people with mustangs join here just to say they raced a ls1 or lt1 car....no offense, but sometimes people on here take it personal and turn it into a fighting match. Everybody has a different combo and with the right amount of money and time anyone can have a fast car. It seems to me that the camaro owner was pissed off though...I hate poor losers no matter what car they drive.

actually what got my into cars was i took a ride in my cousins 99 z28 and i was hooked.

Actually this is true. Improved. But I would still rather have the 5 speed. Mostly because I enjoy driving a manual more than an auto, but also because I have seen many Ford auto trannys go bad. Not so much with their manuals

I was thinking he needed a custom grind personally myself.
I personally was not that impressed in the auto in the 06 Roush Stage 2 I was about to buy a few years back. Loved the look of the car though. Just hate how everyone and their mom here in central Iowa has a 05+ Mustang.
Good kill, OP! If he was running Sumitomos like I used to, I'd believe him, but you can generally tell if the car you are running is spinning really bad.
