1 kill, 1 loss
So trying to get more active on here, thought I would share a win and a lose. My truck is a 03 s-10, 5.3/4l60e and small cam. Made 320whp/327lbs.
First one was a 5.7 gto 6spd, heads, tune, header-back exhaust. we raced from about 40-140, I jumped about a half car out and held him till near the top of 3rd and he pulled on past. We ran several times, all same.
Next was a new cobalt ss turbo. ran from about 20 till 120. I spun till top of 2nd but held about 2 cars on him until we shut down. It was surprisingly quick for completely factory.

wow I cant believe a heads/cam/bolton GTO barely edged you out when a stock Cobalt was only 2 cars back on you. That GTO should be pushing 400-450rwhp and 15+ car lengths faster than the Cobalt! Guess it just goes to show: even a LSx platform can act badly with the wrong combo.
