G8 GT vs Regal GS rematch with vids (Regal's been working out) My buddy and I have ran each other a few times as he's been tweaking his setup. Every time he's gotten a bit faster, with the G8 coming out on top.
Here are the latest result:
The cars:
2009 G8 GT A6, bone stock, ran 13.52 @ 102.9 mph
1998 Regal GS, factory supercharged 3.8, full bolt-ons, cammed, dynoed 298 wheel hp on a dynojet
Both cars had one passenger.
First race was from a 45 mph roll with both cars in 2nd gear:

In that video, my buddy was trying not to get me in it, but you can see the Regal in my mirror. Once I pulled that bit on him you can see that he holds it there.
Second race was from a 30 mph roll with both cars in 1st gear:

I was thinkin it would be a great run seeing as I should trap about 107/108 this year.
From a dig......game over for the cobalt. A roll would be rather interesting.
Did your buddy nail every no-lift-shift? Droppin out of boost while rollin next to a V8 = game over
The only race I have had since my tune was a 07ish GT
Not worth posting since it was boring.....but I pulled around him after he jumped on me.

It was definitely a very good race with the Stage 1 Cobalt, so I think it could go either way.
Isn't the Stage 1 kit supposed to be worth 20 horsepower? If so, I don't think that's gonna be enough to take you from 103 mph to 107-108 mph. You got something else up your sleeve?

20-30hp..........but about 40-60tq and really lessens lag
i just have the tune, k&n and muffler delete, 90% accurate on my NLS an lots of hopes and dreams
