That is NOT what I expected to happen. I almost want to throw the BS flag on that one. Maybe I should invest in some spray

Throw the BS flag all you want. I assure you its real. I was driving the lt1, I know the driver of the Vette and have 2 more witnesses, flagger and camera man.

BS what? A cammed/bolt-on/geared/sprayed LT1 with traction from a dig won't leave a C6 z06 thats spinning?

We're talking maybe 450 rwhp with spray? Versus a vette that has that and a better raceweight? I'm not saying it was total BS, just saying it was completely unexpected.

That LT1 with a small cam, bolt ons and a 150 shot be in the high 400rwhp range plus he got traction...sounds right to me

this just proves how traction, or lack there of, can change the outcome of a race

I believe it. I've beaten cars faster than me because I could hook and they couldn't. It amazes me when I see cars with a bunch of money put into the engine, etc to make it high HP, and they skimp on tires. I don't have DRs, but I do have a set of regular 555s on. Sticky enough for the small amount of HP I do have. Rs would be a waste of money for me till I get more rwhp. Regular 555s stick for me just fine for now.

I am basically stock. That is why I said with the low HP I have, regular 555s are fine.

This summer I am modding it a bit. Eventually getting a procharger.
