Full bolt on, 4.10 gears, trex cam WS6 vs Aston Martin vs SL550 hardtop vert So Im at the red light waiting to merge onto the highway when I notice something very nice looking pull up behind me, an Aston Martin in black. Light turns green and I merge on, my buddy who rented a SL550 for the weekend got next to me and I downshifted into 1st @ 30 mph, I waited for him to get on it knowing he only had approx 390hp. He took the bait and I immediatly pulled on him, shifted into second with spin and kept pulling hard. Got mid way into 3rd and I was a very good distance on him.
All of a sudden the aston martin gets next to me, but before I could react he takes off and man did his car sound nice. I caught up to him and did a fly by ( I know I know lol), needless to say the guy and his hot blonde wife had a huge **** eating grin on their face. He asked if my car was a "race car" and I laughed and said no, just a loud pontiac. So I see him down shift, 55 roll me in 2nd gear, we both just went WOT at the same time almost, we were dead even, until 3rd where I threw it HARD into gear and was greeted with a loud chrip, fearing my demise from wheel spin I looked over to the side expecting him to fly past me. No, the pontiac was pulling on him, pulling, my car was screaming so loud (dual exhaust dumped at the ear axle) my heart was racing at a 1,000 mph. I glanced down at my RPM 6,200 and climbing, SHIFT, slight chirp and I kept going, I could see both his HID's in my side view probably 3-4 cars. 100 mph, 110 mph, 120 mph. SHUT DOWN. Did I just beat a Aston Martin? I believe I did, the guy rolled up next to me like
and gave me a thumbs up, I was awestruck, no idea how to react so I gave him the thumbs up back. My buddy was recording it, but like an idiot he forgot his memory SD card 
!!!.
I dont know what model of Aston I killed, for all I know it could of been the ~400HP V8 Vanquish, but none the less my LS1 whooped James Bond's car.
Tidbits, my buddies rented SL550 is definitely a runner for the power it has, at times he would take off a few cars ahead of me and his little roadster pulls pretty hard for 389hp, the hardtop convertible is absolutely amazing.
To give you guys an idea how my car pulls here is a fly by from the top of 1st all of second and the very bottom of 3rd. I eased onto the throttle in this video

Nice kills! You really need to spend a few minutes on Google Images to locate which car it was that you raced: though I dont imagine beating any of them would be hard for a properly setup Trex cam'd, 4.10 geared full bolton LS1 Fbody. 
Cars like yours have very very few natural stock predators. And a Aston Martin DB isn't one of them.

Nice kills! Nice man. Hey is that down in Miami area? Iam up in Port Saint Lucie. Car is sounding killer. I just had my motor apart wanted to switch from the 224 cam to the TREX and didnt do it Oh well theres always next time.
