Beat the invincible SC Mach1 + SC GT vs LS3 cam only
So I've run 04 Mongoose 3 times now.. Each time I've won although it was close. 2-3 cars usually.
He mentioned heat soak, having a passenger, full tank and extra stuff in his car. This week he took care of all 4 things and it made a difference. 50 to 150 I only got about 1 to 1 1/2 cars. Notice the blue supercharged GT is at my back bumper though.
I added weight C6 z06 chrome wheels (dragging anchor ) and shifted lazy. Could of got another 1/2 car to 1 car if I shifted like I did in the 2nd video.
Mach1: 467rwhp
Blue Supercharged GT: 473rwhp
LS3 camera car: 495rwhp -just a cam

Additional video I made later that night 50 to 110:

Seems about right to me. The Mach does about 11.7 1/4
So over the 1/4 I'd probably get 3-4 lengths. Doing 11.2 to 11.5.
I'm no pro driver.. some people can pull off 10.9 with this same setup.

ET has nothing to do with the race when you go from a roll on the highway. You can take a car that runs 10.9@118mph and beat it with a car that does 12.3@138mph.

^^ Wow, you really know everything! Who put that rather large chip on your shoulder? You can come out, it's ok.
Nice kills OP, I would bash the mustangs but I fear the modular brigade would come to the rescue.

Nice kills, I would have to agree with everyone else. I thought you would have pulled them a good bit harder than you did. I seriously doubt your car is making 495rwhp, not sayin that you didnt dyno that, just saying that dyno may have been a little gracious. Its pretty simple, with you making near 30 more rwhp in a substantially lighter car, I feel you should have raped them pretty bad. Please dont take this as me bashing you or hating just simply stating my opinion. At the end of the day all that matters is that you beat them, and did it NA on top of that. So once again NICE KILL!

No, he's just right. ETs mean virtually nothing in a roll. Traps are where its at for those races. Think about it: a car built to ET will be geared accordingly for the 1320 while a that ETs a high number but traps higher will outrun the quicker ET car, simply because traction is alot less of an issue.

That said the Mach runs really hard for only 467. My car is maybe 200 lbs lighter. I weigh 100 lbs more than the driver.
My car did 487 on one dyno and 495 on the other. That was in much colder weather. Both dynojets.

nice, funny to see some FORCED INDUCTION mustangs try to keep up with an n/a vette.
throw some boost on there and tell them you'll match boost for a run
also for the guys saying he shouldve beaten them worse, notice he put heavier wheels on the car, as well as some sloppy shifting

F*k mustangs then. That better? Good kills once again InsomZ! Guys like you are making me lean more and more towards a bolton/cam'd LS3 versus a C6 Z06 for my next toy in 2011... The wife wants a new suburban first, but all her current one needs is new rims, catback and a new wax job and she'll be happy.
